Every dog I have seen used for puppy mills breaks my heart. They don’t know what it’s like to be a dog. They are shut down, scared of their surroundings, scared of people and don’t know what it’s like to be around other dogs.

I took my dog to meet a dog used for puppy mills. He didn’t know what play was. My dog kept trying to play with him and every thing she did that was normal dog behavior scared him.

buying pure bred dogs, this encourages and supports puppy mills. There are reputable dog breeders, but unfortunately there are a lot of puppy mills where dogs are just used, abused then abandoned when they can’t produce puppies.
